I would never, EVER, EVER do business with these people again. Ordered a rebuilt Autolite 1100 carb for my 1965 mustang, and what a nightmare. Paid extra for 2-day shipping only to end up getting the carb 2 1/2 weeks later. After I put it on the car and made all of the correct external adjustments specific to my model, the car ran like crap when I could manage to get it to run at all. After several afternoons tinkering with the carb, I discovered that the choke thermostat spring had been put into the housing backwards. I notified some clown named "J.D" at Champion Mustang, and he insisted I send him a photo of the spring. After he used his "expertise" to determine that I was in fact correct, he told me that he'd "let the tech know." No apology. He sent me the factory specs for the carb (which were the same as those in my manual) and I worked on the carb a little more aggressively, this time opening it up to check the float level. Of course the float level was way off - by at least a quarter inch, I wrote them back to complain, and "J.D." answered back "In your email you stated float level. Adjustments are only done to external components never to internal components. If you opened up the carburetor and made internal changes you are going to have loads of problems. Hopefully when you stated float level was off that it was a massive typo." What an idiot. A float level adjustment is a basic adjustment. (Besides, if I hadn't looked internally, I would not have been able to find that the choke spring was in backwards). Apparently, J.D. thinks that a carburetor is some magical box and that all the magic fairies will escape if it is ever opened up. Basically, I got a lemon from them, that was poorly rebuilt by someone who doesn't know the first thing about carbs. And of course they don't stand behind their work or do anything to try to make it right. AVOID THESE CROOKS!
