Interactive Designer, Motion Designer and Front-end developer.; Owning an Atari ST personal computer and its graphical drawing applications at an early age, I immediately realized my deep interest for computers and the art of digital graphics.; When studying ICT, I started my career as a systems, network administrator at the former Graphical Arts Lyceum in Eindhoven. I was tasked with managing the network of high performance pc's, mac's and their graphical software. Whilst doing that I also did some freelance designing and developing of flash websites.; In 2001 I started working with the engineering company Ellips. They develop software and hardware for automated camera and weight based digital vegetable sorting systems. Besides managing the network and servers
I was tasked with designing the product packaging and website. I designed and build parts of the Ellips software GUI based on XP embedded, consulted hardware and programmed the restore application.; In 2007 I started working with the creative agency Relate4u. Designing & Developing web interfaces for Shering Plough, DSM, Adidas, Philips, Volvo and Cement & Beton Center and successfully launching The Annual Year Rapport websites for Philips and DSM.; In 2008 whilst continuing my work for Relate4u I teamed up with a business partner to establish a creative agency Bittdesign, functioning as a senior interactive designer managing a team of freelancers to accommodate our work load. We attracted clients like Kaspersky, ABN-AMRO Bank, Pilot Xenon and Capi.; In 2009 I traveled to Asia working on the online branding of various hotel businesses in Asia while maintaining a working relationship with my creative agency Bittdesign, business partner and clients.; In 2011 after 1,5 years of successfully finalizing multiple projects in Europe and Asia I moved back to the Netherlands to take on new challenges as a freelancer for various agancies working on clients like DSM, Quinny, Maxi-Cosi, Vericon and currently part time working on a total new online presence for a dutch energy supplier.; My ambition is to be an influential all round interactive designer, motion designer and front-end developer that is constantly pushing the boundaries for new design, usabillity, trends and technology. |
