Over 70 people attended the day long workshop that was hosted by the Central Alabama Mentoring Coalition (CAMC). The coalition was formed by the Safety Work Group, one of five work groups of the Jefferson County Children’s Policy Council.; The Children’s Policy Council of Jefferson County recently hosted the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama’s Community Conversation about the negative impacts of unhealthy media images for children.This short video is an introduction to GSA's campaign to bring attention to this topic.; ; After School Coordinators from across Jefferson County have a blast at CPC's recent Let's Get Physical training.; Help Children in Jefferson County make healthy choices. |
