| H1 tags : Because President Obama and the Republican presidential candidates have all ignored the dire warnings from the National Academy of Sciences to phase-out the use of fossil fuels with wartime-speed because they are making the Earth unhabitable, Harry
Braun, who represents thousands of scientists and engineers from over 45 countries, campaigned for President in the Democratic primary with his wife Lucille in Iowa, New
Hampshire, New York and Washington D.C. (local press links are provided below).; However, the
Democratic Party and the national news media ignored his candidacy and his efforts
to organize an Article
V Constitutional Convention to pass a Democracy amendment, which would
transfer political power from political parties and the thousands of
lobbyists to the majority of citizens, who would then be empowered to
make secrecy and bribing elected officials illegal because the majority would then
have the power to approve all legislation, executive orders and judicial
decisions that impact the majority.
The 26-word Democracy amendment proposed by Braun would
fundamentally end the partisan gridlock and allow a rapid transition
from oil and other toxic fossil and nuclear fuels that have contaminated
every man, woman and child, to a Solar Hydrogen Economy, which is the
only proposal that deals with the dire warnings of the National Academy of Sciences way to provide "sustainable prosperity without pollution." This
re-industrialization effort would immediately create millions of REAL
jobs that would then generate trillions of dollars each year for the
American people by producing poison-free food and fuel.
While Harry Braun agrees with Ron Paul on issues related to the foreign policy, he disagrees with all of the other candidates -- including Ron Paul --for their business as usual policies on virtually every major policy issue, including energy, the environment, the economy, health care and education, because they continue to serve the interests of oil, banking and other multinational corporations that exploit and contaminate the American people and other citizens worldwide. ; Although Harry's
presidential campaigns in 2004 and 2012 were ignored by the national news media, he will continue
his efforts to organize an Article V Constitutional Convention Democracy, while there is hopefully still time to make a difference in preparing for the climate change-induced mass-extinction event that is now well underway on Spaceship Earth.
