| I took advantage of a free, limited hosting offer. It worked for about the first week or so, but following that the URL would not resolve anymore. I figured perhaps there were some server issues going on, it's a startup, it happens. Real life happened, and I didn't pay attention to my site for a goodly few weeks. I returned to it now to find that my account was suspended and I can't log into the user area anymore, all this without any warning, and without any reason. My site was not up yet, and so I could possibly have had any objectionable content that broke terms of use. Perhaps it was killed because I had an empty, free account - but that was not my fault. I tried to get into cPanel to get stuff going, but they were having problems on their side with the DNS not resolving. True, you get what you pay for, but I've had much better experiences using other free hosts. I couldn't even get to test drive this one. |
